What do we wear to a trampoline class?
The best thing you can wear is comfortable clothing that is easy to move in, most types of sportwear are ideal! Try and avoid clothes with buttons, zips or studs as they can damage the trampoline. Socks are essential, and the more interesting the socks the better! We also ask that long hair be tied up off the face, and all jewelry and watches are kept in your bag until the end of class.
Is Trampolining safe?
Trampolining is a gymnastics related sports and like all sports there is always a small risk of injury. However we always have qualified and experienced coaches on hand to help guide everyone through the sport safely, and to ensure fun isn't inherently risky! All our equipment is also regularly maintained and we have extra safety equipment on hand. You'll never find a safer way to leap through the air!
Do you offer a free trial?
We offer everyone the chance to try our classes out themselves, free of charge the first time (subject to availability. Get in contact if you'd like to organise trying it out!
Is Trampolining good for you?
There are so many great physical benefits from trampolining, ranging from improved motor skills to cardiovascular fitness, core strength conditioning to flexibility, and everything in between! For younger participants there are also a huge range of developmental benefits, including nurturing social skills, team bonding and helping teach self responsibility.
Is there an age limit for trampolining?
Currently we have classes for anyone aged 6 and over! We have no upper limit, though classes for those over 18 are run seperately for safeguarding reasons.
What is GI membership?
GI are Gymnastics Ireland, the national governing body for all gymnastics disciplines. As a registered club, they provide our members with insurance for training sessions and competitive events, so you're covered should anything unusual happen! GI membership is annual, and our club can help you through the process.
